EGYPT: PETROLEUM MINISTER: EGYPT IS KEEN ON ATTENDING OPEC CONF. IN ABU-DHABI.

Petroleum Minister said after departing Cairo on 4/12/2007 that Egypt will participate on 5/12/2007 in the ministerial conference of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) which is to be held in Abu-Dhabi. He asserted Egypt's keenness on accepting the invitation received from the OPEC to attend the conference as a supervisor of the countries exporting petroleum outside the OPEC, confirming the importance of this conference at that significant time which synchronizes with the increasingoil prices and international worries concerning the orderly market supporting of petroleum.
