According to Al-Ittihad newspaper (January 23, 2008), a recently released report by the Deutsche Bank Group, one of the world's leading financial service providers, forecasts the Middle East countries to record an average financial surplus ratio out of the GDP of 12.5% in 2008 compared with 11.2% in 2007.
