EGYPT: INAUGURATING ITU REGIONAL OFFICE NEW PREMISES IN CAIRO.

Minister of Communications and IT, Dr. Tarek Kamel and Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Dr Hamadoun Tour? will open the ITU new premises in Cairo on the sidelines of ITU Telecom Africa 2008, due to be held during the period from May 12-15 2008. The inauguration ceremony is to be witnessed by a number of senior officials in the ITU, Ministry of Communications and IT and some regional and international organizations concerned in the I.C.T in Egypt and the region.
Head of ITU Development Sector, Samy El-Basher said that the new premises will serve 22 Arab countries members in the ITU and Arab League. He noted that the premises will develop its role and activities during the period to come in coordination with the ITU and all...
