SAUDI ARABIA: $170 MILLION SOFTWARE PIRACY LOSSES.

According to Al-Ghad newspaper (May 12, 2008), a recently released report by the Business Software Alliance (BSA), which is the voice of the world's commercial software industry and its hardware partners before governments and in the international marketplace, estimated the software piracy losses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at $170 million in 2007.
These losses were incurred mainly by the software manufacturing companies.
