JAPAN: MOODY'S ASSIGNS PRIME-1 TO JFC'S YEN CP PROGRAM GUARANTEED BY GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN.

Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Prime-1 rating to Japan Finance Corporation's (JFC) commercial paper (CP) program. This is domestic yen CP program guaranteed by the Government of Japan. The rating outlook is stable. The last rating action on JFC took place on October 1, 2008 when Moody's assigned local currency/foreign currency issuer ratings of Aaa to JFC.
Japan Finance Corporation is incorporated under the "Japan Finance Corporation Law," and is wholly owned by the Japanese Government.
