If you're thinking about getting another computer, where are you going to put it? While you can usually put the box out of the way, you need desk space to manoeuvre your keyboard and mouse. Monitors are big and clumsy and, if your table is against the wall, it can't hang over the back. You need lots of desk space with nothing else on it. In July, Len Walker and I made our annual pilgrimage to the Toronto COMDEX show. As we went up and down the aisles, we got tired of seeing one three letter acronym after another and decided to bypass a booth exhibiting KVM technology.
