The Scholarships are funded by the proceeds acquired at the 1988 Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference, held in Edmonton, AB, the 1979 Chemical Engineering Conference, held in Sarnia, ON, and the 1998 Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference held in London, ON.

The Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering offers two CSChE Chemical Engineering Local Section Scholarships annually to undergraduate students in chemical engineering at a Canadian university.
