BRUSSELS--In the wake of its recent takeover of the ICI Polyurethanes business, Huntsman Corp. has confirmed its position on a number of projects, particularly in Asia and Europe.
In China, Huntsman's chairman and chief executive officer, Jon Huntsman has stated that "he is very keen for Huntsman Polyurethanes to progress the former ICI MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) joint venture with BASF at Caojing, near Shanghai," said company spokesman, Richard Northcote, in a telephone interview.
