Basic Canning Supplies:

8-ounce jars, lids, and rings (these can be bought at the grocery store, by the dozen)

one large canning pot, with a top, and a wire rack to hold jars

tongs to remove hot jars from the pot

a ladle or funnel

clean dish towels
