The United States of America as represented by the Department of Health and Human Services (Washington, DC) and John Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) have patented a method for isolating and characterizing a metastasis tumor suppressor gene KAI1, and diagnostic methods and gene therapy approaches utilizing reagents derived from the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequences of the KAI1 gene.
