North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale, Minn., joined forces with the Council of Fashion Designers and Saks in their national "Fashion Targets Breast Cancer" event, according to the March-April Profiles in Healthcare Marketing. The event raised nearly $15,000 for the Twin Cities Susan Komen Breast Center. As a result of the special promotion, more than 4,000 kits with a guide to North Memorial's services had been distributed at Saks, and more than 60,000 people became more aware of the breast health services offered by North Memorial.
