Simmons-Boardman acquires Davison Publishing.(Update)

The Simmons-Boardman Publishing Corp., the publisher of MARINE LOG since 1878, has acquired the assets of Davison Publishing Co. Inc. of Orlando, Fla. Davison produces seven annual directories, including three in the commercial marine field. Others cover the textile, fence, tile and stone, and corrugated box and folding carton industries.
Simmons-Boardman Chairman, President, and CEO Arthur J. McGinnis, Jr. said Davison Publishing LLC, as it is now known, will continue to be based in Orlando and will be managed by Robert P. DeMarco, Senior Vice-President of Simmons-Boardman.
