MSP Communications (Minneapolis, MN) has acquired Computer Currents (Berkeley, CA), the publisher of seven regional/city computer magazine editions. No terms were given.

A competitor to MSP's network of Computer User regional/city magazine editions, Computer Currents publishes regional computer publications for business and professional PC and Mac users. Editorial includes product reviews, features and buying guides with an emphasis on e-commerce, intra--nets and related technologies. Computer Currrents publishes in seven markets, including Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Northern California and Southern California.
