Business Publisher, Feb 28, 2001
Gardner Publications (Cincinnati, OH) has begun the publication of Production Machining magazine with a January/February issue. It has a controlled circulation comprised of 20,000 selected recipients of Gardner's three metalworking magazines, including Modern Machine Shop, Products Finishing and Automotive Finishing.
Taglined "the magazine of screw machine technology," Gardner said the new title was launched in response to the "rapidly changing screw machine industry environment" with editorial focusing on precision machining of discrete parts and components in a manufacturing structure. The magazine is an information source for evaluating such industry topics as competitive pressures, manufacturing processes, employee attraction and retention, automation and electronics, new industry techniques, software, and solutions for high-volume production.
