CDW Government starts "Fed Tech" magazine

CDW Government (Vernon Hills, IL), the government and education division of CDW Corp., a provider of technology solutions, has begun the publication of Fed Tech with an Apri1 issue. The new quarterly magazine is designed to assist IT decision-makers and implementors who use technology "to build a more effective federal government."

The title has an initial controlled circulation of 70,000 IT professionals, including CIOs and CSOs who establish IT policy directives relating to their agency's mission and objectives. Taglined "technology insights for leaders in federal government," the magazine's mission is to focus on "benchmarks for success and support decision-makers in the public sector."

CDW said that editorial carries information and market intelligence on how to build technology solutions for federal departments and agencies. It includes industry news and trends, analysis and information on products, programs, policies and funding sources. It also carries case studies on best practices and policies. Editor-in-chief Lee Copeland said editorial includes "insight from inside and outside the federal sector on tackling the challenges of a government in the midst of remarkable change" through technology.

Fed Tech is being published by Ziff Davis Integrated Media. CDW Government also produces Ed Tech and State Tech.
