Corry Publishing changes name; launches "techPartner"

Corry Publishing (Erie, PA), the publisher of "Business Solutions," "Integrated Solutions" and "Integrated Solutions for Retailers" magazines, has changed its name to Jameson Publishing to reflect its move from Corry (PA) to Erie and to honor the company's founders' father.

Also, the company has begun the publication of "techPartner," a new quarterly magazine designed to help IT professionals at end user companies, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, "solve their toughest problems," Jameson said. It is written as a resource to help readers find a partner with a specific technology, application or vertical market expertise.

Jameson said the new title is supported by regional solutions providers and is targeted to IT managers and network administrators who need to stay current with technical training and new products and services related to automating, managing, securing and troubleshooting systems, hardware and software.

Initial issue of the magazine include stories on: consolidating service contracts; paperless meetings; inventory control; using VAR to augment IT staff; workflow efficiency; greening IT infrastructure; workflow automation; reducing data entry; document management; network security; IP telephony; mobile computing; and, asset management systems.
