LexisNexis (Dayton, OH), a unit of Reed Elsevier, has acquired Verilaw Technologies, Inc. (Wayne, PA), a provider of e-filing and e-service applications for courts, law firms and administrative agencies. Verilaw is currently working with over 45 state, federal, trial, appellate, judicial, and administrative courts in 15 states.

With the addition of Verilaw, LexisNexis will now will have an e-filing presence with courts and law firms in 25 states.
