CMP Media's "EE Times" (San Francisco, CA) has launched the Programmable Logic DesignLine web site (PLDesignLine.com), a new site targeted to design engineers and engineering managers involved in the development, implementation and programming of PLDs and FPGAs for wireless, networking, industrial, automotive and other system designs. The site carries information, technical and standards-related resources, new product data and reviews, advice and forums on architecture/implementation, interconnect design, embedded processing, FPGA to ASIC conversion and software.

Also, CMP Media (New York) will produce the The Contact Center Technology Summit at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center (Seattle, WA) on Sept. 18-20, 2005. The summit is described as the first applications and infrastructure conference for IT and telecommunications professionals serving the contact center industry. It will include presentations and forums on the technology of contact centers, managing converged networks and multi-media applications, peer-to-peer exchanges and new products. The summit is being co-located with the Annual Call Center Exhibition.
