Mag for urgent healthcare market from Virgo

Virgo Publishing's (Phoenix, AZ) Medical Group has begun the publication of "Immediate Care Business: Business Solutions for the Urgent Care Market" with a September/October issue. The new title will be produced six times a year for an initial controlled circulation of 6000 owners, directors and managers involved in the urgent/immediate care industry, or have made application for urgent care accreditation, Virgo said circulation will increase as more care facilities are opened or identified.

Virgo said the magazine's mission is to provide physician entrepreneurs with relevant and applicable information and news relating to the business and operational aspects of running an urgent care center or retail medicine clinic. Content will address the range of issues related to retail medicine including financial benchmarks and operations, legal concerns, marketing and advertising, branding strategies, staffing and employee relations.

She initial issue includes an overview of the retail clinic industry and discusses the degree to which retail clinics and urgent care centers are being accepted by medical societies and government entities. It also includes articles on the integration of information technologies and operational efficiencies. Upcoming issues will carry information on such topics as supply chain management, legislative activities, patent education, quality improvement, risk management, insurance and medical malpractice.

Virgo's Medical Group also includes "Today's SurgiCenter," "infection Control Today," "EndoNurse" and "Renal Business Today." Overall, Virgo now publishes 17 b2b magazines including "xChange," "Phone ," "Telephony" and "Natural Products Insider."
