Virgo Publishing (VPI; Phoenix, AZ), the publisher of Phone and XChange magazines among others, has begun the publication of Wireless Fidelity magazine with an issue this month. The new quarterly has an initial controlled circulation of 15,000 carriers, resellers, VARs, systems integrators, ISPs, and telephony agents and venues "seeking new revenue opportunities."
VPI said that content for the title covers business opportunities across the broadband wireless value chain, including information for those seeking profit from the growing demand for enterprise-class wireless LAN and public hotspots. Editorial covers emerging business models for delivering wireless broadband services, including wireless ISPs, aggregators, clearinghouses, wholesale network providers and end-to-end providers.

The first issue includes articles on: tools for site location; using clearinghouses; the emerging access switch; neighborhood net sharing; new 802.11g and its implications for networks and devices; and, evolving standards for security. Regular sections will also monitor best practices for sales, marketing and operations.
VPI produces over 20 b2b journals covering a wide variety of areas, including Child Care Business, Today's SurgiCenter and Public Venue Security.
