(New York) has acquired a 51% stake in RealClearPolitics.com (Chicago, IL), an independent political Web site that aggregates political commentary, news, polling data and links to relevant resources from all points of the political spectrum. No terms were given. The site was launched in 2000 and is updated throughout each business day.

It claims 900,000 unique visitors each month. Forbes also produces Forbes.com, ForbesTraveler.com, ForbesAuto. com and Investopedia.com. Forbes has also acquired Clipmarks y(New York), a Web clipping service that allows users to clip and share text and other content from Web pages. The service comes in the form of a free browser add-on application that gives users the ability to clip text, images and videos from Web pages and then save, blog, email and print them.
