CTQ Media (Bainbridge Island, WA), a diversified media company that delivers business process improvement information through its iSixSigma.com web site and the recently launched "iSixSigma Magazine," has acquired Sourcingmag.com (Nevada City, CA), an online business publication that provides guidance on business transformation through outsourcing. No terms were given.
Taglined "practical advice for IT and business process outsourcing," Sourcingmag.com was established in May 2005 with the mission of helping managers do a better job with their IT outsourcing efforts. It reports on the practical details of IT outsourcing projects and providing metrics to support the success or failure of those projects. Editorial includes coverage of such topics as outsourcing growth in China, business development methods, establishing offshore development centers in India, communicating with an overseas team, global program managers and data center transitions.

In a release, CTQ Media ceo Michael Cyger said "we see Sourcingmag.com as a vital resource for the growing community of sourcing professionals seeking practical advice on working through the many complex issues involved in outsourcing."
Earlier this year, CTQ Media began the publication of "iSixSigma Magazine," a new title for business professionals that addresses all facets of Six Sigma deployments. Produced six times a year, the magazine covers the latest methodologies, strategies and tools for operating a business more profitably, CTQ said. It has a paid circulation. An annual subscription costs $59.
