Nielsen Business Media's (New York) Adweek Group will reduce the frequency of "Adweek" magazine from 47 issues a year to 36 issues beginning in the first quarter of 2008. Nielsen said the cut in frequency is simultaneous with new enhancements for the title's web site. The Adweek Group also publishes "Brandweek" and "Mediaweek" magazines.

In related news, Nielsen Business Media's Nielsen Sports Group (San Juan Capistrano, CA), the producer of five trade shows for professionals involved in various areas of the sports industry, including Action Sports Retailer, Health Fitness Business and Outdoor Retailer, has signed an agreement with Messe Munich International (Munich), owners and organizers of the ISPO China trade show. Under terms of the partnership deal, Nielsen will be responsible for all North American sales and marketing efforts for the 2008 edition of the sports, fashion and lifestyle brands show, to be held in February.
