In 1958, Kan Jung "K.J." Luke's investment helped Aloha Airlines take off into island skies. In 1960, Kohala-born Luke founded Hawaii National Bank. That's already a full interest-bearing career. But since he graduated from Harvard Business School in 1938, Luke has also lectured University of Hawaii students on finance, started up nine local businesses, held board seats at 12, led or joined seven national and regional banking organizations and seven more non-profits, and earned the UH Alumni Distinguished Service and St.
