Russel Nanod, manager of community relations for the Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA), is a guy who knows a thing or two about older people. The 51-year-old Nanod has advised them about financial and insurance planning, has served on numerous aging-related boards and commissions, and has even hosted a local radio show for the senior crowd.
