Record Sales For Bristol-Myers Squibb Mr Richard Gelb, chairman of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company reported that the group achieved record sales and earnings for the second quarter and six months ended 30th June 1990. Second quarter sales increased by 11 per cent from $2,244 million to $2,484 million, while net earnings were up by 21 per cent from $345 million to a record of $417 million or 79 cents per share compared to 66 cents per share last year. For the six months, sales increased by 10 per cent from $4,509 million to $4,942 million with net earnings improving by 20 per cent from $689 million to $826 million or $1.57 per share compared to $1.32 per share for the previous year's first half period.
