LMVH still find la Dolce Vita despite the market depression.

LMVH is doing well during 1995 and 1996, despite a weak market. The French luxury goods firm reported a consolidated sales increase of 6.5% during 1995, with net income rising 10.4% and operating income increasing 6%. The firm plans to introduce new women's fragrances at Kenzo, Givenchy and Guerlain to bolster its strategic direction during 1996. LVMH has also acquired Spanish luxury products company, Loewe.

The French luxury goods group, LVMH, has confirmed the strong sales and profits performance which it achieved in fiscal 1995, despite a challenging operating environment. In early 1996 it has also taken several initiatives which will strengthen its strategic directions including the preparation of new women s perfume launches at Guerlain, Givenchy and Kenzo....
