Ethnic sector outperforms US colour market.(colour cosmetics, Datamonitor report)

A new report by Datamonitor says that the domestic color cosmetics market grew to $3.5 billion in 1996, becoming the fastest growing market segment and accounting for 38% of the market. The report says that the segment could even expand further. The impressive growth has been attributed to the growing number of large multinationals getting involved in the segment and the increase in ethnic population growth.
