Realm, the pheromone based fragrance company started in the early '90s, is launching its first fragrance in six years, named Pherose by Realm.
In the interim period, Hicksville, New York-based Northern Group acquired the licence for the brand in 1998. Earlier this year, it purchased the trademark.
Pherose brings Realm into the present day with "a modern pheromone cocktail that's about romance, warmth, sensuality and self-confidence," said David Horner, marketing and sales consultant to Northern Group. Pheromones are steroid molecules naturally given off by the skin that affect those near us. Different pheromones have a different effect. In addition, Pherose is a "really modern sparkling rose fragrance" added Horner.
