Beyonce to add bounce to Hilfiger sales.(Tommy Hilfiger Corp.)(Brief Article)

Celebrities and fragrance companies cozying up to one another is nothing new. In the past nine months, that trend has heated up as such big names as Nicole Kidman, Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears and the latest media darling, Scarlett Johansson, have all signed deals--with Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Elizabeth Arden and Unilever Prestige, respectively.

The Hilfiger/Beyonce fragrance, called True Star, is reportedly set to make its US debut in September and then go worldwide in October.

It will be a floral-oriental scent with notes of honeysuckle and, more unusually, rice pudding.

More importantly, it will have the task of re-energizing the Tommy Hilfiger Toiletries division of the Estee Lauder Companies.
