DOW CORNING has introduced a new hair care ingredient, which it claims has straightening, heat and colour protection and long-lasting shine applications. Called 2-2078, it is an amino phenyl resin fluid and can be used in leave-on products, relaxers, colorants and rinse off products. The company has also extended its Experience the Difference programme for skin care to include Actives.
These are designed to moisturise, lighten, slim, tan and protect the skin from ageing.
