Fake Bake to make foray into skin care with Sachy.(EUROPEAN NEWS)(Brief article)

Fake Bake, the brand known for its sunless self tanning expertise, is moving into the skin care domain. The first two products in its new Sachy range will be available from Fake Bake salons from June and they will also go on counter in Harvey Nichols this autumn.

According to the company, it is revolutionising the skin care market because of its use of the matrixyl 3000 ingredient by Sederma, which is comprised of two peptides called palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3. This is as opposed to just one peptide--palmitoyl oentapeptide 3--in the matrixyl used in StriVectin-SD. The formulation of the Sachy products also relies on six anti-oxidants, including vitamins A, C and E, phyllanthus embilica extract, daisy flower and green tea. These...
