Carita overhauls anti-ageing offering.(Pearl of Youth introduced)(Brief article)

Salon brand Carita has replaced its Progressif Anti-Age skin care range with the new Pearl of Youth three-sku collection.

The new range was inspired by, and relies on, mother-of-pearl, from which the pearl powder is extracted. This helps to firm, smooth and lift the skin, according to the Shiseido-owned company. The products also contain natural sea minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, iron, zinc and copper. Other ingredients include micro-beads of wheat protein to trap moisture on the skin's surface; white willow extract to prevent the depletion of the skin's natural defence; hawthorn flower extract to detoxify; and meadowfoam oil to preserve the skin's softness.
