THE EUROPEAN Commission (EC) is proposing that the beauty industry adopt an easier-to-understand labelling system for sun care products in 2007. "European Union citizens need to be fully informed about what sunscreens will and will not do for them," said Markos Kyprianou, commissioner for health and consumer protection.
