Revlon president and ceo Jack Stahl has resigned. He joined the struggling US cosmetics company four years ago having previously worked his corporate magic as president of The Coca-Cola Company. However, the expected turnaround in Revlon's fortunes never fully materialised.

Stahl is succeeded immediately by a former Coca-Cola colleague David Kennedy who takes over the role from his position as Revlon's executive vp, chief financial officer and treasurer.

Stahl leaves Revlon at a difficult time for the company's finances which continue to struggle this year with a further $100m being added to an existing $700m credit agreement, plummeting share prices, crisis for the new Vital Radiance Brand (including $20m in returned products) and second quarter net...
