C&T companies turn backs on shark oil.(INTERNATIONAL NEWS)

International marine conservation organisation Oceana is claiming victory in a battle to end the use of shark-derived squalene in cosmetics.
The organisation says it has received notice that Unilever and L'Oreal have both under taken to replace all the squalene used in their products with plant-derived squalene.
Beiersdorf, LVMH, Henkel, Boots, Clarins, Sisley and La Mer, have all either ceased to use the ingredient or already have a policy never to use it.
