Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) shareholders have rejected a 1bn [pounds sterling] bid from UK advertising giant WPP Group following its hostile bid for the company earlier this month. TNS shareholders are demanding a "substantial" improvement on WPP's 950m [pounds sterling] offer. The holding group, which comprises market information and insight businesses, is currently in talks about merging with fellow information provider GfK.
