Three family members from Pembroke Pines, Fla., and one of their friends have been convicted of distributing prescription drugs nationwide via the Internet without a doctor's review or prescription.
Betty Gorman, her son James, and "close family associate" Kenneth Dodd were each convicted of 126 counts of dispensing with intent to mislead and defraud, plus of one count each of conspiracy to dispense misbranded drugs via interstate commerce.
A second Gorman son, John, was convicted of lesser dispensing and conspiracy charges.
