Lexis-Nexis CEO leaves after revamp
The Lexis-Nexis Group, Dayton, Ohio, part of the legal division of Reed Elsevier plc, London, announced last month that Hans Gieskes had stepped down as president-CEO. Crispin Davis, Reed Elsevier CEO, earlier announced the parent company's reorganization into three parts: scientific, legal and business-to-business. The position of global CEO for the legal division has been vacant since the announcement. Davis will take responsibility for the Lexis-Nexis business until a CEO is named.
Thomson to acquire Dialog online units
