Using google to compete with google.(B to B Special Report: Technology Marketing)(Survey)

Objective: Getting prospective buyers to evaluate ISYS' enterprise search software.

Strategy: Use Google's AdWords to reach prospects; invest in analytics to refine marketing.

Results: Increased the number of weekly Web site visits to 7,500 to 8,000, double the number of a year ago. Software evaluation requests and leads received have also increased by an average of 20%, while e-mail leads received directly from the Web site have doubled.
