Outsell projects growth in market research

Non-IT market research, reports and services will grow by 8.0% this year to $30.2 billion, according to a new report by research company Outsell. Between 2007 and 2010, non-IT market research, reports and services will grow by a compound annual rate of 8.1%, Outsell projected. The IT and telcom reports, research and services market will increase by 9.5% this year to roughly $2.8 billion, according to the report. Among the key drivers of growth will be the expansion of market research services into China, India, Latin America and the Middle East, according to Outsell.
