Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA), Islandia, N.Y., provider of eBusiness management solutions, has signed an agreement with Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ) to include CA's popular BrightStor ARCserve Backup software with Compaq's SANworks Data Protection Suites for Backup and Restore. The agreement enables customers to make Compaq their single source for procurement and service of end-to-end data protection solutions that utilize CA's uniquely secure and resource-efficient software.
