Medline Industries, Mundelein, Ill., purchased the health care apparel business of Angelica Corp., St. Louis.

Medline purchased the existing inventory, sales, marketing and distribution for items such as scrubs, lab coats, surgical apparel, patient wear and professional health care apparel.

The combined market share of Medline and Angelica health care textiles totals $310 million and about 19,000 items. Hospitals will access the combined offering of Medline and Angelica products and services through Medline's 650 national sales representatives and 23 distribution centers.
