Kaweah Delta Health Care District, a 501-bed hospital in Visalia, Calif., awarded a contract for emergency department documentation and web-based electronic medical record software to The Poseidon Group, Atlanta.

Kaweah will purchase the company's NavigatorWeb Emergency Department Information System under a multi-year agreement. According to Rick Brown, nursing manager at Kaweah, "The functionality that resided in The Poseidon Group's core product was a good match for the needs of our business, and that made them the partner of choice in securing Kaweah Delta's emergency department automation objectives."
