GTI, NEGA to develop Operator Qualification training. (Newsline: for the latest industry developments).

Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and the New England Gas Association (NEGA) are working together to develop a training program for natural gas industry personnel subject to the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Operator Qualification regulation. Under an agreement signed Sept. 25, GTI will develop an Operator Qualification training program that natural gas utilities and others can use in conjunction with NEGA's Operator Qualification Program to meet the regulations' employee testing and qualification requirements.
