George Hodgson
George C. Hodgson, 85, a retired Oildom Publishing salesman in the Chicago-area and Southeast U.S., died May 10, at a hospital in Dunedin, FL.
A resident of Largo, FL, Hodgson spent 30 years with Oildom Publishing before his retirement in 1995. Prior to joining Oildom, he worked as an independent contractor in marketing and sales for a petroleum company. A graduate of Ohio University, Hodgson also served as a teacher with the Literary Council and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anne K.; a daughter, Marianne Pankowski; a son, Raymond; and two grand children.
