The 74 net horsepower 416D backhoe loader offers 14 feet 5 inches of backhoe digging depth with a standard stick and 18 feet 1 inches of digging depth with an extendible stick. The 416D boasts several features not found on Cat's C-Series backhoe loaders. A 205-degree rotation of the backhoe bucket linkage makes it easier to dig vertical wails and to clamp material for truck loading. Rotation is 40 degrees more than the C-Series. The backhoe buckets have a single pin position and a]l former models' buckets and Cat work tools can be used on the D-Series. In addition, the bucket link has an integrated lifting eye.
