Hutch rolls out value-added facilities. (India).(Hutchison Essar South Ltd.)

Hutchison Essar South Ltd. has launched Direct Top-Up service that will enable Hutch cellular users in Andhra Pradesh to re-charge their pre-paid cards by simply sending an SMS or walking into the closest ATM (automated teller machine). This service is currently available with HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, and IDBI and is part of the national rollout.
Several other banks are set to facilitate this initiative soon. For this, however, they have to go in for one-time registration either at ATM centers or branches of their respective banks, said Kumar Ramanathan, the chief operating officer of Hutch, while launching the service titled Direct Top-Up.
