Natrindo enters into 3G agreements with 3 MNCs.(INDONESIA)(PT Ericsson Indonesia)(PT Natrindo Telephon Selular)(Brief Article)

PT Natrindo Telephon Selular based in Indonesia holds a 3G operating license. Kusnadi Sukarja, president of Natrindo, said that the company is planning to launch 3G services by December 2006. Natrindo has entered into agreements with 3 multinational telecom companies: LogicaCMG, Huawei Technologies, and PT Ericsson Indonesia.
Logica will offer telecom solutions while Huawei will establish base transceiver stations (BTS) in Java by early 2007. Ericsson will complete establishment of BTS units by December 2006 in Greater Jakarta. According to Kusnadi, over 600 BTS units are required to be built in Bekasi, Bogor, Jakarta, and Tangerang of Greater Jakarta.
