Huawei unveils commercial IMS VCC solution.(CHINA)(Huawei Technologies Company Ltd.)(internet protocol multimedia subsystem voice call continuity)(Brief article)

Huawei has launched a commercial IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) VCC (Voice Call Continuity) solution along with multinode smart device solution provider E28 to help operators enjoy the vast benefits of fixed-mobile convergence.
This solution permits the users to switch between different types of networks and is 3GPP compliant. Its intricate features allow dual-mode users to roam between cellular GSM/CDMA/ UTMS and Wi-Fi/WiMAX.
The director of Huawei's IMS product line, Mr. Zha Jun, said that IMS was a significant infrastructure for next-generation fixed and mobile convergent networks.
Huawei will provide all the network equipment, including DTF and DSF of IMS domain, IMS core, and related CAMEL application logics (in CS domain).
